The worship experience begins each Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. with Praise and Worship. At this time worshipers can pray with the Pastor or at the altar. This is a great time to invite the presence of the lord into the worship service and into the hearts of each person present. The primary worship service begins at 11:00 a.m. This liturgical service let by the Pastor includes worship through the spoken Word of God, music, liturgical dance and Scripture.
Holy Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month. Children are invited to participate in this service.
In addition to the regularly scheduled worship services, Holy days are observed and other major days in the life of the church are celebrated. The celebration of Advent is observed on the four Sundays before Christmas during the primary worship. Men’s Month, Women’s Month, Homecoming and the Church Anniversary are among day celebrations that are on pre determined dates announced annually.
Acolytes, under the guidance of the Worship Committee, are members trained to participate in the worship experience. The acolytes light and extinguish candles during worship service, assist the Pastor during Holy Communion and Baptisms.
Communion Stewards participate in the preparation and distribution of the elements used during the Holy Communion.
